Adlon Currywurst

Expect a new interpretation of the local classic, whose history goes back to 1949. 

At her snack stand in Berlin-Charlottenburg, Herta Heuwer prepared the first curry sausage - with a sauce made from tomato paste, curry powder, Worcestershire sauce and other ingredients. 

Within a very short time, the snack enjoyed great popularity, which continues to this day. 

Last year, an estimated 850 million curry sausages were eaten in Germany - and 6,136 of them at Hotel Adlon Kempinski berlin alone.
