Lorenz Adlon & Friends

Berlin, 23 April 2024 – Great news is on its way: The idea of spontaneously inviting four top chefs from other award-winning gourmet restaurants to the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin in 2023 to create an extravagant 6-course menu in tandem with Reto Brändli was so well received by guests and chefs that the culinary event series will be held again in 2024.

Reto Brändli, the bustling Swiss chef of the Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer, which has been awarded two Michelin stars, is already looking forward to presenting four new joint top menus. He will design these with each of his four industry colleagues, who have also each been awarded two stars, on a single evening at the iconic, legendary Berlin hotel. Gourmets will once again be able to indulge in three courses prepared by the host himself and three courses shaped by his respective guest chefs, all from a star menu that is available only once. As in the previous year, those who attend all four events will experience gourmet artistry which have a total of 10 Michelin stars between them, and which can only be found at such an exclusive event.

Reto Brändli will start this year's gourmet spectacle on 28 April with star chef and Austrian-born Daniel Zeindlhofer from the IGNIV restaurant in Zurich, before Kevin Romes, a lover of tastefully purist dishes from the Swiss restaurant Skin's in Lenzburg, will come to the Adlon for an evening of culinary indulgence on 26 May.

After the summer break, guest chef Christoph Rainer from the IKIGAI restaurant at the renowned Hotel Schloss Elmau will then do the honours at the Brandenburg Gate on 13 October, giving Adlon guests three tastings of his Japanese-French inspired creative cuisine as part of the six-course menu. Gourmet chef Christian Scharrer from the Courtier restaurant at the idyllic Weissenhaus resort hotel will provide a fantastic finale to the “Lorenz Adlon & Friends” gourmet series on 17 November.

Each of these illustrious Sunday evenings will commence in style with a glass of champagne at 18:30, and menu service beginning at 19:00. Guests will be seated individually at single tables in the classically elegant atmosphere of the Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer. The six-course menu, including accompanying and corresponding drinks, is offered at 565 euros per person. Reservations for the few tables still available can be made by e-mail to [email protected] or by telephone on +49 30 2261 1959. Photos for download are available upon request.
