28 June, 2018 marked the 5th anniversary of the operation of the Grand Kempinski Hotel in Shanghai. As a member of one of Europe’s oldest luxury hotel groups, we are proud to have written another chapter in the brand’s legacy.
Since 2013, the Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai has set a gold standard for luxury hospitality in the city’s central business district and to recognize our achievement, the hotel management team organized a celebration for the property’s staff members. Starting with a theme lunch, the management team served the meals for everyone in attendance. A lucky draw with prizes consisting of room vouchers for our sister Kempinski hotels was also held during the lunch.
In the afternoon, we gathered in the Suncuba ballroom to present honors to long serving staff members who have worked with us for 3 and 5 years. The cheerful ceremony concluded with the cutting of the birthday cake, which was enjoyed by all staff members.
