Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai Hosted CICA VIPs With Success

The CICA was established in 1992 by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev as a forum for peace, security, and stability in Asia. It currently has 24 member countries and 13 observers across the Asian regions, with a wide representation of different political systems, religions, culture, and stages of development. Through military development, CICA aims to strengthen dialogues and cooperation by its mission.

Attendees for this summit consist of leaders and representatives from 46 countries and international organizations, including 11 heads of state, one government leader and the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon among the 10 chiefs of international organizations.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and delegations were hosted by Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai with its signature European flair. The Hotel’s image ambassador, the “Lady in Red” and the management team greeted the VIP guests upon arrival.
