Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Mr Andrea Magnano as Executive Chef.
Mr Andrea Magnano was born in Italy. He started his career as a steward at the age of 13, with the goal of becoming a chef. He now joins Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai with over 29 years of experience in the kitchens of five-star hotels and fine-dining establishments on five continents throughout Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Australia and Asia. His extensive culinary experience and passion as a chef put him in an ideal position to lead the renowned team of chefs at the hotel.
Achievements
With the advantage of speaking four major languages – English, Italian, Spanish and French – and his diverse culinary knowledge, Chef Andrea can easily communicate with a wider audience, giving optimal suggestions and guest service as needed.
