AIRPORT

International Airport ‘’José Martí’’ is located in the southwest of La Habana and can be reached by taxi in about 45 minutes.

LOCATION

La Habana is located in the western part of Cuba and is the capital of the country. The city covers an area of approximately 721.01 km2 and is the most populated city in the country.

CLIMATE

La Habana, like most of Cuba, has a tropical climate that is temperate due to the island's position within the trade wind belt and warm ocean currents. It's a lovely, welcoming place!

TIME ZONE

La Habana is located in the Eastern Time Zone (ET), which corresponds to GMT -4. During summertime, the clock is advanced by one hour.

ELECTRICITY

The main voltage in our facilities is 230 volts at a frequency of 50/60 hertz. The sockets correspond to the Universal standard.

CURRENCY

The official currency in La Habana and Cuba is the Cuban Peso (CUP). Banks, exchange offices, and ATMs are widely available in the city. We will also be happy to guide your foreign currency at reception. Payments at the hotel aremade only by credit cards as long as they are not issued by American Banks.

CREDIT CARDS
Credit cards, such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express, are accepted in most restaurants, shops and tourist establishments, as long as they are not issued by American Banks. However, it is advisable to carry cash as well because card payments are not accepted everywhere.
