Kempinski Soirée 2016 to celebrate an extensive refurbishment
Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz celebrated the completion of its extensive refurbishment by Baldacchino Group and the continuation of yet another successful season by hosting an exclusive Kempinski Soirée.
The red-carpet event was a cocktail reception held under the auspices of the Minister for Tourism, the Honourable Dr. Edward Zammit Lewis. Additional notable guests were the Honourable Dr. Anton Refalo, Minister for Gozo and Dr. Gavin Gulia, Chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority. “This hotel is alive and its beating heart is the people who make it happen – both from Gozo and beyond our shores,” said Dorothy Baldacchino, Director of Baldacchino Group, while thanking all stakeholders, partners, guests and colleagues.
Apart from exquisite canapés, the guests could also enjoy fresh oyster, charcuterie and suckling pig stations to indulge their senses. In addition to the atmospheric candle lighting, flower arrangements and remarkable ice sculpture with the hotel’s logo, the evening was accompanied by a live pianist and featured the sensational Opera singer Miriam Cauchi who provided delightful entertainment in a luxurious ambiance. The outstanding celebration ended with a colourful display of fireworks as its grand finale.
