Being the first eco-certified hotel in Gozo, we grow vegetables, fruits and herbs in our own vast gardens - the secret behind that little bit of extra freshness and taste of our delightful menus.

Here at Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz, we introduced a Maltese Indigenous Garden featuring Gozitan and Maltese natural heritage and giving home to plant species unique to the Maltese Islands. Among others the collection includes Darniella Melitensis – the Maltese Salt-tree, the Myrtus Communis or Common Myrtle (Maltese: Riħan) and the Capparis Orientalis – the Spineless Cape.
