Facts about Fuzhou

Located in the lower reaches of the Min River, Fuzhou is the capital city of Fujian Province. It is also called Banyang City, given all its banyang trees. It serves as the economic, political, and cultural and transportation centre of the province. The city is also famous throughout China both for its quantity of hot springs and for their quality.
Fuzhou is both a historic and cultural city, with over 2,200 years of history. It is also a liveable and surprising destination, with attractions including graceful mountains and rivers, unique gardens and historical sites.
