The Ascara Fitness and Spa Club is an exclusive place to rest and relax, and in order to provide an appropriate atmosphere, we kindly ask all visitors to keep noise levels to a minimum and to refrain from using mobile phones during their visit. Also, please note that smoking is strictly prohibited throughout Ascara.
Please read the following in order to ensure your visit is as relaxing and stress-free as possible.
PRIOR TO YOUR VISIT
To reserve a treatment at your preferred time, please contact the team in advance, either in person or on +49 (0) 6174 909100. If you are staying at the hotel, you may also dial extension 9100. Walk-in guests are welcome any time and all reservations are subject to availability.
To ensure a successful treatment, please inform your Ascara professional about your state of health, including any medical conditions or allergies you may have, and whether you are pregnant, prior to your appointment. This information will help us offer you the best possible treatment and ensure your safety.
The treatments you choose will be reserved especially for you, so in the event you have to postpone or cancel an appointment, kindly advise us at least 24 hours in advance. Should you fail to cancel your appointment, a 100% fee is applicable.
PRIOR TO YOUR TREATMENT
We recommend that you arrive at the Ascara Fitness and Spa Club reception at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This will allow you to ensure and maximise your enjoyment of our facilities. Should you be late for your appointment, please understand that your treatment time will be reduced accordingly while the full treatment price will still apply.
Dress code and hygiene
At the Ascara Fitness and Spa, complimentary bathrobes, bathing shoes and hand towels are provided - hotel guests from Falkenstein Grand Kempinski are more than welcome to arrive at the Ascara in the bathrobe provided in their hotel room. Please wear a dry bathing costume or underwear under the bathrobe.
We will be happy to provide you with a locker for your clothes and valuables. Prior to exiting the changing rooms, please take a warm, refreshing shower before indulging in a treatment. This will relax the body, remove skin cells and prepare the skin for optimum application of our skincare products. The sauna area is the only area in the spa complex where guests wear no clothes.
Food and beverages
Kindly avoid arriving hungry prior to your treatment, as well as eating large meals less than one hour prior to your treatment. Drink sufficient amounts of water or herbal tea prior to your experience or sauna visit.
DURING YOUR TREATMENT
Your therapist will ask you about your particular wishes and preferences prior to your treatment taking place. You may also let us know about your preferences at any time during the treatment.
During, your body will be covered with a hand towel to protect your privacy. In addition to this, we will also offer you a disposable undergarment. Enjoy your spa experience to the full - relax, breathe deeply and leave all your thoughts and worries behind. In this way you will get the optimal benefit from your treatment.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
Don’t rush. Enjoy our spa complex and relax a little longer. Drink a glass of refreshing mineral water or a herbal tea offered throughout our spa areas, or swim, soak and sauna.
At the Ascara Fitness and Spa we offer a small selection of light, delicious spa dishes as part of our snack menu. Please be aware that the consumption of food is only possible in the waiting area, not in the relaxation rooms.
After your treatment you should avoid solariums and direct sunlight as much as possible. If you booked a body peeling or an oil massage, you should wait at least 12 hours prior to your next sunbathing session.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
The Ascara Fitness and Spa accepts cash and all major credit cards. As a hotel guest, you may ask for spa treatments and products to be charged to your room bill.
