Afternoon Tea with Jo Malone London

03.12.2025 – Dubai, U.A.E: Inspired by Jo Malone London’s whimsical festive spirit, Kempinski Central Avenue brings to life an afternoon tea that feels both enchanting and indulgent. Here, seasonal fragrances drift through the air and festive flavours unfold with every bite, creating a joyful celebration where playfulness, elegance, and sensory discovery meet. Set within the opulent Amber Lounge, where a vibrant Jo Malone London–inspired Christmas tree takes centre stage, this limited-edition afternoon tea invites guests into an indulgent experience, infused with the festive fragrances of Jo Malone London.  

Priced at AED 300 for two, the afternoon tea experience will be available from 5 December 2025 to 7 January 2026. Presented in a delightfully unexpected way, the tea is served on a chequered board, a playful nod to Jo Malone London’s festive theme of making merry, mischief, and mayhem. Curated by Jean-Pascal Irissou, Cluster Executive Chef, and Guillaume Destouches, Cluster Executive Pastry Chef, the afternoon tea presents a meticulously crafted selection of sweet and savoury delicacies.  

The savoury ensemble is rich in flavour and finesse, featuring highlights such as Lobster spheres infused with mandarin oil, Smoked salmon caviar tartlet, Roasted turkey log, Truffle egg sandwich, and Foie gras terrine with quince and apricot, each bite designed to delight the palate.  From edible Christmas baubles infused with the very ingredients that inspire Jo Malone London’s festive signature fragrances—such as bitter orange, ginger, spiced apricot and tonka—to playful treats masquerading as dice on a chequered board, and chocolate playing cards sprinkled with gold, each creation is a whimsical celebration of elegance, indulgence, and festive delight.  

The grand finale invites guests to crack open a large festive bauble with a wooden hammer, revealing a cascade of confetti-like dried fruit chunks and mendiants. Paired with festive-inspired mocktails and a handpicked selection of tea and coffee, it’s a playful celebration of the season that delights the senses at every turn. 

Guests will end their afternoon tea on a joyful note, with a surprise of miniature Jo Malone London fragrances and a special gift card offering a hand massage at the Jo Malone London Boutique in, Dubai Mall, just steps from the Amber Lounge at Kempinski Central Avenue, perfectly suited for festive gifting. 

The limited-edition Kempinski Central Avenue x Jo Malone London festive afternoon tea will be available daily from 5 December 2025 to 7 January 2026, between 2:00pm and 8:00pm. The experience is priced at AED 300 for two, and early reservations are highly recommended.
