Building on the success of Turkish TV series, Hareem El Sultan, Kempinski Nile Hotel, threw a lavish themed reception at Cairo's only Authentic Turkish Restaurant Osmanly. The event turned out to be a huge success and was attended by media, business men and Cairo's social faces and celebrities.
Stepping through the doors of Osmanly, guests immediately begin a pure, amplified and unforgettable Turkish experience – a true “Ottoman” feel , pampered by a courteous staff, immersed in luxury and invited to play with sultan's costumes that were specially brought in from Istanbul for this event. event was co hosted by Moqtanyat the middle east and north Africa's leading designer and producer of quality hand-crafted ottoman, Fatimid and Arab-inspired home furnishings, who contributed a valuable gift to the event's attendees.
Osmanly’s warm, bright dining room is located on the mezzanine floor of the luxurious Kempinski Nile Hotel. The first treat you’ll receive is a brass pitcher of jasmine water to dip your hands and a warm towel to dry them off the perfect preparation for the delicacies ahead. Osmanly’s décor is bright yet intimate: warm orange walls, richly-varnished tables, and on the left side, a balcony overlooking the grand staircase leading to Kempinski’s lobby below. The friendly waiters are constantly at the ready, able to explain not only what the dishes are, but how they’re made and even a bit of history. You get the sense that they work closely with Osmanly’s master chef to ensure that the food gets the presentation it deserves.
