We prepared great local experiences to enhance your stay at Kempinski Barbaros Bay Bodrum.
Sevilen Winery Visit
Led by the principles of tradition, inspired by perfection, and assisted by experienced French consultant Mr Florent Dumeau from the Bordeaux region, Sevilen Group owns 160 ha (395.4 ac) of vineyards and a first-class restaurant.
We now offer private visits into the beautiful world of wine and Sevilen. The journey starts with a ride to İsabey, and is crowned by a tour of the vineyard and a delicious lunch with wine pairings. On the way back, you will have the chance to take a tour of the brand new factory, built to perfection in Aydın Magnesia.
Etrim Weavers Association is one of the leading retailers of hand-knotted and flat-woven Turkish rugs and kilims. Founded in 1980 by Mehmet Başol, this Bodrum-based co-operative offers a wide selection of handmade products from all around Turkey. By establishing a direct link with the weavers, Etrim Weavers Association does away with the middleman, allowing the artisans to earn what’s rightfully theirs. Dedicated to customer satisfaction, the co-operative intends not only to please their guests, but also to protect and spread the heritage of weaving by creating concrete connections with their visitors from all around the world.
Selia Artisanal Farm Visit
This family farm, which is located on 66.8 ha (165 ac) of land on the wind corridor between Mandalya and Gokova Gulf, is home to delicacies prepared by conventional methods.
The quality of taste is in thanks to Bodrum's exceptional climate, as well as the sea salt, minerals and the floral fragrances in the soil regularly carried by winds blowing from the Aegean. You can now discover the healthy world of Selia and the delicacies that are all prepared without using synthetic chemicals and drugs, including homemade jams, goat cheese and house wine.
