Lake Königssee

In the Alps
Lake Königssee

Like a fjord, the emerald green Königssee with its crystal clear water weaves through Germany’s only alpine national park. During the cross-over to the region’s landmark, the famous trumpet echo of the baroque pilgrimage church, St. Bartholomä with its red onion domes, will be heard.

In St. Bartholomä, there is the only fisherman who is allowed to fish in the Königssee. A speciality of the Königssee is the fish Schwarzreiter, a regional char. Visit our sister hotel in Munich and dine in the Restaurant Schwarzreiter of the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich.
