Dragon Palace Has Received “Editor’s Choice - The Best Restaurant Award 2012” From Modern Weekly Magazine
Kempinski Hotel Beijing’s Chinese restaurant Dragon Palace has received the “Editor’s Choice - The Best Restaurant 2012” award by Modern Weekly magazine, a national urban life magazine, together with French cognac brand Martell.
This is their 10th annual restaurant selection and represents one of Chinas most authoritative cuisine awards, The winning restaurant is selected by a panel of well-known food critics, senior food editors, cultural celebrities and readers. Launched in 1980 and considered one of China’s elite magazine, Modern Weekly has a circulation of around 1.5 million.
As a result of this award, Dragon Palace will be featured in Modern Weekly’s annual signature book, “Cuisine Map”, which is launched as a cuisine guide in four major mainland cities. In 2012, Kempinski Hotel Beijing’s Italian restaurant Trattoria La Gondola was featured in the 9th “ Cuisine Map” and was named as the restaurant with “The Best European Cuisine 2011”.
