Beijing's Biggest Ever Oktoberfest Planned to Celebrate 20 Years of Kempinski Hotel Beijing
Paulaner Bräuhaus, the home of authentic German beer in Beijing, will be delighting beer lovers from around the world when the party gets started on October 12.
Beijing is bracing itself for its biggest and best Oktoberfest in 2012, the year that marks the 20th anniversary of Kempinski Hotel Beijing.
During nearly three weeks of celebrations, Paulaner Bräuhaus will welcome over 6,000 revelers to its famous Oktoberfest test, enjoying glasses of pure-brewed Oktoberfest beer and hearty Bavarian cuisine.
To make the 20th anniversary extra special, the new German band Muenchner Sinfoniker and the much-loved Munich Showgirls are being flown in from Germany to keep guests up on their feet day and night. What’s more, traditional Bavarian games like ‘Beer Stemmed’ and ‘Hammering’ will bring out the child in everyone.
The Opening Ceremony on October 12 promises all the authentic elements of a true Oktoberfest: women wearing dirndl dresses, men in traditional leather lederhosen, barrel after barrel of beer, delicious wurst and pork knuckle, and hours of singing and dancing. And the party rocks on every night until October 28.
So come and experience the proud traditions of the world’s most famous folk festival, and join the staff and friends of Kempinski Hotel Beijing in raising a glass on this special anniversary year. Prost!
