Originally from Germany, the Kempinski Executive Chef brings 22 years of international experience from luxury hotels in Germany, Slovakia, India and China. Before coming to China, Chef Béla worked in a five-star hotel in Bangalore city, India, as Executive Chef.

At Kempinski Hotel Beijing, Chef Béla oversees all culinary aspects of the hotel’s seven restaurants and bars: Paulaner Bräuhaus, Honzen, Kranzler’s Restaurant, Dragon Palace, Rendez-vous Lounge & Bar, Kempi Deli and the Italian restaurant Via Roma as well as our Catering services.  While combining European luxury with China’s rich culture, Chef Béla brings life to the sophisticated dining scene with innovative ideas and contemporary concepts.
