Where can we host our wedding?
We have a variety of venues in remarkable locations to suit your vision for your wedding. Whether you would like to exchange vows on the beach or in our expansive tropical gardens, we have the perfect venue for you. Click here for more information about getting married in Seychelles, or contact our wedding team for specialised requests.
What happens in the event of rain?
As Seychelles’ weather can be unpredictable, we always have a back-up venue in mind, in case it rains at the last minute. During your meeting with your wedding planner, you will be shown our other elegant indoor venues and briefed about our contingency plans for last-minute venue changes.
Is my wedding legal in the country where I reside?
Our experienced wedding planners will guide you through the legal processes and requirements to formalise your marriage. Your marriage in Seychelles will be attested by an Apostille Certificate, which is legally binding in all countries which are a member of the Hague Agreement. Please confirm that your country of residence recognises this agreement before your departure for Seychelles.
If your country of residence is not a member of the Hague Agreement, you will need to visit your country’s closest embassy to have your marriage certified. Please note: there may not be an embassy in Seychelles.
In order to secure the Apostille Certificate, you will need to provide us with the following documents no less than one month before your ceremony: certified copies of your passport, birth certificates, and proof of divorce or death, in the case of divorcees and widow/widowers. We will forward these to the Seychelles Civil Office on your behalf.
What if I need to cancel the wedding?
In this unfortunate and unlikely event, kindly contact your hotel wedding planner to discuss our cancellation policies.
When will I receive my marriage certificate?
Provided you do not require your marriage to be certified by an additional embassy, your marriage certificate will be ready within three to four working days after the ceremony. In the case your hotel departure is before the receipt of the marriage certificate, it will be sent to you via DHL to your postal address (additional delivery fees will apply).
Who will assist with my wedding when I arrive?
Your wedding planner will welcome you upon your arrival, and arrange a meeting at your convenience to confirm all the final details of your wedding. A site inspection will then be provided to help you familiarize yourself with the property. After this, our team will help you prepare for and arrange all aspects of your wedding, ensuring a perfect day. You will have a dedicated point-of-contact to address all of your concerns throughout your entire stay.
If you have any further questions or special requests, our wedding team will be delighted to help. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone on +248 438 6669.
