They constitute without a doubt the most prestigious international awards programme for the industry; in 2008 its voting campaign reached more than 167,000 travel professionals worldwide. Noel Attard, who was appointed General Manager of the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz on 1st October 2008, stated that “we are proud to receive such prestigious awards, as they acknowledge Kempinski’s achievement in placing our hotel in the position of a leader within the Maltese hospitality industry.”
The five-star resort, which first opened its doors under private management in June 1999, has been part of the Kempinski group since 2001. It has since extensively upgraded its spa and other facilities and is today, not least thanks to its location amidst the idyllic Gozitan countryside, an internationally renowned luxury hideaway resort.
