Born in London, Melanie has been a journalist and writer for more than two decades and she lives in a leafy town in the south of England with her husband and three young children. She loves writing about city breaks with stunning architecture and sublime food, as well as adventurous pursuits in far-flung places. Her passion for travel began when she skydived and bungee jumped her way around Australia and her favourite destinations include Vietnam, Costa Rica, Borneo and the West Coast of the United States.
