Donate One Million Thai Baht to Autistic Thai Foundation

To support the equality of life and health of children and adults with autism in Thailand, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok and Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok joined hands to present BE Health, a corporate social responsibility initiative of Kempinski Hotels to develop and support the lives and health of the community through its Global campaign, Thinking Glocal While Acting Locally, with a donation of one million Thai baht net to the Autistic Thai Foundation to build an ‘Autism Learning Center’ at the Association of Parents of Persons with Autism (Thailand) on 7 December 2023.

The Autistic Thai Foundation will use these funds to develop the ‘Autism Learning Center’ programme to enhance the basic digital skills of children with special needs and their parents while improving physical abilities, brain function and basic social skills. The ‘Autism Learning Centers’ will provide a learning base to develop hand dexterity with ‘Autistic Application Series’; virtual-world reality for basic skills through ‘VR Glasses’ (Virtual Reality); step-by-step thought processes of digital art ‘Coding’ courses; ‘Canva’ computer programmes; English language curriculum skills from True Click Life; basic digital skills for parents; and more.

Both Kempinski hotels in Thailand have raised these funds by collecting ‘One Euro Donation Per Night’ from in-house guests and organising various charity activities, including the ‘BE Health Online Auction’, which was held from 27 September until 17 October 2023, to provide essential medical care, equipment and other support to children and adults with autism in Thailand.

Together with the Autistic Thai Foundation, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok and Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok are honoured to be part of this most meaningful programme to positively impact the lives of both children and adults in Thailand.
