Bangkok, 22 May 2025 – Demonstrating our ongoing commitment to fostering inclusive community well-being, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok and Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok have jointly contributed THB 1,000,000 to the Autistic Thai Foundation for a second consecutive year. This contribution was made through BE Health, the global corporate social responsibility initiative of Kempinski Hotels, guided by the philosophy of ‘Thinking Global While Acting Locally’.
This year’s donation supports the continued development of the ‘Autism Digital Learning Centre’, with a new facility to be established in Ratchaburi, a province in western Thailand, approximately 80 km from Bangkok. The centre is designed to enhance the digital literacy, creativity and life skills of individuals with autism, offering access to interactive technologies such as virtual reality-based learning tools and English language applications. The aim is to stimulate cognitive development while encouraging independent learning for the young learners and their families.
Funds were raised through the One Euro Donation Per Night initiative, supported by guests of both hotels, alongside charitable endeavours including the BE Health Online Auction. These initiatives continue to enhance the health and wellbeing of children and adults with autism across the country.
The official presentation took place on 15 May 2025 at the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok and was attended by Barbara Muckermann, Group Chief Executive Officer of Kempinski Hotels (fourth from left); Manish Nambiar, Kempinski Vice President Operations, South East Asia and Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok Managing Director (second from left); Christian Ruge, General Manager of Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok (sixth from left); Chusak Janthayanond, President of the Autistic Thai Foundation (third from left); and a representative from the True Plookpanya, True Corporation, and the Autistic Thai Foundation.
Kempinski Hotels, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok and Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok remain steadfast in delivering purpose-driven initiatives that cultivate meaningful impact and nurture strong bonds within the community.
