Engelberg has more than 500 km of hiking trails to choose from – ranging from leisurely to high alpine – and every hiking enthusiast will find the perfect way to explore the magnificent Swiss mountains. Discover great themed hikes or go on a multi-day hiking adventure. 

For true mountain lovers, we recommend booking a certified local guide who will take you to the most beautiful places in the Engelberg mountains. There are tours offered, such as via ferrata, various mountain hikes, mountaineering and guided climbing or hiking tours.

Also for running, the area around Engelberg isexcellently suited. We have created an easy jogging circuit without a great difference in altitude, but also somewhat more challenging routes for advanced runners.
