Festive Season at Kempinski Hotel Muscat

Muscat, 5 November 2024—Kempinski Hotel Muscat invites guests to experience the enchantment of the Omani coast as it transforms into a haven of celebration this festive season.

With a variety of delectable cuisines, unforgettable entertainment and glittering festive decorations by the beach, guests are sure to create memorable moments during this special period.

On 3 December, join us for a traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony in our award-winning lobby, accompanied by a choir performance from 17:00 and capped off with a visit from Father Christmas bearing gifts for the little ones.

From 3 December to 7 January, enjoy Advent Afternoon Tea at Amwaj Lounge, from 16:00 to 18:00, priced at OMR 25 for two guests.

Indulge in a Festive Gueridon experience from 15 to 30 December at Amwaj Lounge, priced at OMR 10 per person for non-alcoholic drinks and OMR 20 per person with bubbly, available from 18:00 to 19:00.

 

Christmas Eve

On 24 December, the festivities begin at The Kitchen, the hotel’s multi-cuisine restaurant. Families and groups can indulge in seasonal delights and buffet offerings, accompanied by live entertainment. The Christmas Eve buffet is served from 19:300 to 23:00 and is priced at OMR 38 per person, inclusive of food, signature cocktails and house beverages.

At Zale, guests can enjoy a nighttime coastal experience with a five-course sharing-style menu, paired with a glass of bubbly and a bottle of fine wine per duo. This special dining experience is priced at OMR 46 per person and runs from 19:00 to 23:00.

 

Christmas Day

On 25 December, celebrate Christmas Day at The Kitchen with a buffet brunch featuring international delicacies and a visit from Father Christmas. This festive brunch is available from 13:00 to 16:00, priced at OMR 48 per person, inclusive of food, festive cocktails, house wines and bubbles.

 For those seeking alternative cuisines, our signature restaurants Bukhara and Soi Soi will be open to elevate your dining experiences with Thai or Indian specialities.

 

New Year’s Eve

Guests aged 21 and above can welcome 2025 with a magical celebration under the stars at Zale. A live band will entertain as guests enjoy live food stations, tapas-style dining and a decadent pasty lounge overlooking the pristine coast of the Arabian Sea.

Packages start at OMR 78, including premium house beverages. For bookings of eight or more, special rates apply. This event runs from 21:00 to 03:00.

 Families with younger guests can celebrate at The Kitchen, featuring international buffet stations and live entertainment from 19:00 to 01:00, priced at OMR 68 per person with a selection of house spirits.

Guests can also opt for an Indian-style set dinner with specially paired wines at Bukhara or a five-course Thai set menu at Soi Soi.

Bukhara and Soi Soi will be open from 19:00 to 01:00, priced at OMR 45 per person, inclusive of beverage pairings.

 After dinner, guests from all venues are invited to continue the celebration on Zale’s oceanfront deck, where a DJ will set an atmosphere of excitement as we welcome 2025 with an unforgettable celebration.

 

Festive Master Classes

Guests staying in-house can enjoy a series of Festive Master Classes, ranging from gingerbread making and chocolate crafting to cooking classes, available from 7–21 December with additional fees.

 For those extending their celebrations with a longer stay, a range of exciting or relaxing activities awaits. Guests of all ages can enjoy options such as snorkelling at the beautiful Daymaniyat Island, diving at Al Farsi Island or visiting the famous old souk, Muttrah.
