The ‘Lady in Red Night’ 15th Anniversary Appreciation Dinner of Kempinski Hotel Jinan Concludes in Splendour

Jinan, 23 May 2025 – Kempinski Hotel Jinan hosted the ‘Lady in Red’ 15th Anniversary Celebration Dinner at the Ding Grand Ballroom, honouring the iconic ‘Lady in Red’ and showcasing the enduring legacy of European luxury hospitality. With the theme ‘Eternal Elegance, Crafting Perfect Performance’, the gala paid tribute to this emblem of refined service and cultural heritage in Spring City.

Mr. Xu Jia, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Kaiyan International Hotel Management Co., Ltd., and Mr. Robert Kempinski, Vice President of Sales for Kempinski Asia and Vice President of Owner Relations for Kempinski China, attended the dinner on behalf of Kaiyan and Kempinski Asia Headquarters. Both delivered heartfelt speeches and conveyed their best wishes. Coinciding with the hotel’s 4th anniversary, Mrs. Cheng Jie, the owner representative, expressed her appreciation, stating: ‘Thank you for your support and company over the past four years.’ Mr. Markus, the General Manager, welcomed guests in Chinese, expressing his sincere affection for Spring City.

Eternal Elegance: The Symbol of European Luxury Service

Since its inception in 2009, the ‘Lady in Red’ has represented elegance and dedication, greeting guests in red attire as an embodiment of Kempinski’s signature hospitality. For 15 years, these ambassadors have stood in hotel lobbies, blending European sophistication with local cultural nuances to create personalised guest experiences. More than a uniformed presence, the Ladies and Gentlemen in Red reflect warmth, meticulous attention and a commitment to meaningful service. This anniversary not only honours their legacy but also marks the beginning of a new chapter in guest experience excellence.

Crafting Perfect Performance: A Feast of Art and Gastronomy

The evening opened with a ballet performance to Bach’s Sarabande from Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major, followed by a passionate Latin dance symbolising the passion that drives exceptional service. Dancers in red uniforms performed with custom-designed anniversary umbrellas to Red Rhapsody, elegantly merging European service flair with local culture.

Executive Chef Frank Chen and his team presented a specially curated luxury menu, seamlessly blending Western cuisine with a refined wine pairing to delight every palate. The evening concluded with a dramatic dessert presentation led by the culinary team and performers, reimagining the idea of ‘perfect performance’ through the art of gastronomy.

To commemorate the occasion, the hotel collaborated with iconic French luxury brand Guerlain (established in 1828) to launch the ‘15 Years of Red Dress – Guerlain Themed Rooms’. Ms. Xiao Bin, Director of Marketing & Sales at Kempinski Jinan, and Ms. Liu Yuping, Regional Representative of Guerlain, unveiled the design concept, which intertwines the signature hospitality of the Lady in Red Dress with Guerlain’s timeless elegance. The rooms are designed as a tribute to modern women, embodying Kempinski’s philosophy of ‘luxury in the present moment’ and ‘luxury through creation’.

Luxury Must Be Lived in The Now

As the 15th Anniversary Appreciation Dinner drew to a close, Kempinski Hotel Jinan reaffirmed its commitment to crafting timeless narratives of ‘eternity, refinement and elegance’, continuing to deliver exceptional journeys of discovery and luxury in the heart of Spring City.
