Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center Hosts Easter Brunch Highlighting Children's Art, Charity, and Parent-Child Bonding

Beijing, 30 March 2024 – A refreshing blend of art, charity, and family fun took center stage at Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center Easter Brunch this year, as the hotel introduced a special artistic charity zone to its traditional celebrations. The event, which ran for two days, not only marked the arrival of spring but also aimed to bring joy and hope to children in need through a meaningful partnership with the BE Health Foundation.

On the bright and lively weekend, families flocked to the hotel to enjoy a variety of activities spread across four themed zones. The outdoor garden barbecue area served up delicious grills, while the indoor Signature’s restaurant offered an international cuisine spread that tickled the taste buds. The garden also played host to a range of parent-child activities, creating an ideal setting for families to bond and enjoy the warmth of the spring sun.

But it was the artistic charity zone that truly stole the show. Here, the hotel combined the joy of Easter with the power of art and the spirit of charity, creating an experience that was both educational and heart-warming. A highlight of this zone was the exhibition of "Island of Innocence," a suspended installation art piece created by artist Guo Hang and a group of young children. This innovative collaboration which garnered significant attention when it was first exhibited at the 14th Florence Biennale of Contemporary Art, marked its debut in China showcasing the creativity and innocence of children, serving as a powerful reminder of the importance of nurturing their imaginations and spirits.

Beyond the artistic display, the charity zone also hosted a fundraiser to benefit the BE Health Foundation. A portion of the proceeds from the artistic charity zone was donated to support the children of Shidongmen Primary School in a mountainous area of Yunnan Province. This donation not only provided financial assistance to the school but also symbolized the transmission of joy and hope from the children of Beijing to their peers in need.

Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center has created an unforgettable experience for families while also making a meaningful contribution to the community.
