Kempi Deli Unveils Housemade Mooncakes

Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center - Restaurant

BEIJING, August 2026 – As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, Kempi Deli at Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center introduces its first collection of housemade mooncakes crafted by Executive Chef Fank Law. This debut collection reimagines the traditional festive classic through the lens of European patisserie, adding sophisticated mousse and cheese textures.

The mooncake collection features two exclusive, artisanal flavors designed to delight the modern palate:

70% Dark Chocolate & Raspberry Mousse Mooncake: A striking crimson creation featuring a crisp chocolate shell of 70% Valrhona dark chocolate encasing light raspberry mousse. It offers a perfect harmony of bitter richness and fresh fruit acidity.

Rum Raisin Cheese Mooncake: Clad in a warm, moon-like yellow, this variety blends creamy cheese with the sophisticated aroma of rum and sweet, wine-soaked raisins for a lingering, elegant finish.

Presented in cream-colored themed boxes adorned with traditional motifs of jade rabbits and florals, the packaging embodies a seamless "East meets West" aesthetic, making it a perfect choice for refined festive and corporate gifting.

The Petit Duo: A 2-piece box (RMB 74)

The Artisanal Quartet: A 4-piece box (RMB 148)
