Xiamen, 10 February 2025 –Kempinski Hotel Xiamen is delighted to welcome Mr Gerhard Doll as the new General Manager. In his new position, Mr Doll will oversee the operations and strategic management of the property.

Located in the heart of the Xiamen overlooking scenic Yundang Lake, Kempinski Hotel Xiamen features 460 elegantly appointed guest rooms; five restaurants; a chic wellness centre and over 2,600 sq.m of banquet and meeting facilities.

A native of Germany, Mr Doll has over 30 years of experience in the global luxury hospitality industry, having lived and worked in destinations as diverse as Seoul, Chicago, Bangkok, Tokyo, Manila, Jakarta and Shanghai. Starting his journey in the culinary field, Mr Doll transitioned to an executive position in 1998 and has worked for a number of internationally renowned hotel brands including Mandarin Oriental, The Peninsula and The Ritz-Carlton. Prior to joining Kempinski Hotel Xiamen, Mr Doll was the General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Guiyang.

A graduate of Cornell University's Hotel Management programme, Mr Doll brings a strong foundation in hospitality to the role. With his extensive hotel management experience, Mr Doll will lead the team in crafting memorable guest experiences, building on the hotel’s positive market reputation and driving continued success.
