From 16 November 2025 to 3 January 2026, the historic chapel of Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden will transform into a vibrant stage celebrating the art of Otto Waalkes. Under the motto ‘Ottifanten in Dresden’, visitors can look forward to Saxony’s largest Otto Waalkes exhibition, presented in collaboration with the renowned Walentowski Galleries.
On display are original works by Otto Waalkes that captivate with humour, warmth and an unmistakable artistic style, from his beloved Ottifanten to striking PopArt creations and exciting discoveries. The artist’s signature blend of painting, music and comedy creates an unforgettable experience where art and joy come together in perfect harmony.
The exhibition is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:00, with free admission, making it a delightful destination for art enthusiasts, families and guests exploring Dresden.

Please note that the gallery, including the Otto Waalkes exhibition, will be closed on the main Christmas holidays, 25 and 26 December, as well as on New Year’s Day, 1 January. On 31 December, the exhibition will only be open from 10:00 to 14:00.
