March 1, 2025 – On a momentous occasion, the Chinggis Khaan National Museum witnessed the grand unveiling of the Golden Statue of Chinggis Khaan, the Great White Banner, and the Golden Seal of Khaan, celebrating the legacy of "The Most Influential of the Millennium."
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the President of Mongolia, Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, the Speaker of Parliament, Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve, the Prime Minister, Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai, former Presidents, esteemed recipients of the Order of Chinggis Khaan, and an array of distinguished guests.
Academician Chuluun Sampildondov, Director of the Museum, delivered an enlightening discourse on the historical and symbolic importance of the artifacts. The 7.2-meter Great White Banner, embellished with horse-tail tassels from all 21 provinces and materials sourced from sacred Mongolian sites, stood as a testament to Mongolia's rich heritage. The Golden Statue, a masterpiece crafted in Florence, Italy, using Mongolian gold, depicted Chinggis Khaan in his royal throne.
