Dead Sea, Jordan, 1 February 2025 — Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea is pleased to announce the appointment of Victor Betro as General Manager, effective 1 February 2025. Mr. Betro brings 14 years of experience with Kempinski Hotels to his new role. In 2011, Victor started his journey with Kempinski as the Food & Beverage Manager at Kempinski Hotel Aqaba, where he stayed until 2013. After this first assignment, Victor moved to Spain, to Kempinski Hotel Bahia, where he progressed from Director of F&B to Executive Assistant Manager in charge of F&B.
In 2016, Victor returned to the Middle East, where he was involved in the opening of three Kempinski hotels: As Executive Assistant Manager in charge of F&B, he was part of the opening team at Kempinski Summerland in Beirut, followed by Kempinski Hotel Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman in 2017, before moving to Dubai in 2018 as Hotel Manager.
His most recent assignment was as General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Aqaba Red Sea, his first General Manager position.

Mr. Betro holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and International Marketing from Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Switzerland. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Arabic.
