Bulgaria’s Best Ski Hotel 2022

Bansko, 21 November 2022 – Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko is the proud winner of the title “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Hotel” awarded by the most prestigious organisation in the international ski industry — World Ski Awards.

Votes were cast online by ski industry professionals and by ski tourism consumers on the organisation’s official website from 17 June to 7 October 2022, for a range of categories, including best chalets, hotels, resorts, and tour operators. The World Ski Awards is globally recognised as the leading programme in the global ski sector and is celebrating this year its tenth anniversary. World Ski Awards 2022 brought recognition not only to the hotel but also to Bansko, which has been awarded “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Resort”. Along with this achievement, the resort is becoming more and more popular on a global scale. Renowned as the winter capital of the Balkans, the resort has already hosted eight Ski World Cups in alpine skiing, rolling ladies and men, and two Snowboard World Cups. The resort will soon welcome the best snowboarders in the world in the upcoming series of the FIS Snowboard World Cup and FIS Snowboard Alpine Junior World Championships in January 2023.
