Directions - Important information

Please note that you need to pay toll on Austrian highways. The "Vignette" can be bought at nearly every gas station near the border. A vignette for 10 days costs EUR 12,80.

• Winter tires are mandatory while driving on Austrian roads in wintertime
• During the winter season, every car is obliged to carry snow chains

• Take the A8 motorway towards Salzburg
• At the Inntal-Dreieck (motorway junction) take the A93 toward Kufstein
• Exit at Kufstein Süd (south)
• Take the B178 Loferer Highway towards St. Johann in Tyrol
• Take the B161 Pass Thurn Highway towards Kitzbuehel
• Driving time from Munich: approx. 2 hrs*

From the west (CH)

• Take the A12 Inntalautobahn
• Exit at Wörgl Ost (east)
• Take the B178 Loferer Highway towards St. Johann in Tyrol
• Then the B161 Pass Thurn Highway towards Kitzbuehel
