Chengdu, May 12, 2026 — Chengdu Kempinski Hotel has successfully launched Shiji Daylight PMS, a new-generation cloud-native hotel property management system independently developed by Shiji Group. The successful implementation of this system not only helps the hotel enhance guest experience and improve operational efficiency, but also marks a new phase in the strategic collaboration between Shiji Group and Kempinski Hotels, setting a new benchmark for technology upgrades in China's high-end hospitality industry.

As a world-renowned luxury hotel group, Kempinski has always led the industry with high-quality service and refined operations. The selection of Shiji Daylight PMS as the only next-generation hotel PMS standard for Greater China represents a continuation of the long-standing trust and in-depth collaboration between both parties.

Over the years, Kempinski Hotels has successively adopted multiple Shiji solutions in global markets, including ReviewPro for guest experience and reputation management, and Infrasys POS for food and beverage management. Together, the two companies have built a digital ecosystem covering guest experience, F&B operations, and core hotel management. Since 2024, Shiji Daylight PMS has been rolled out and successfully switched over at Kempinski hotels in China, continuously supporting the group in building a unified, efficient, and sustainable digital operations system in the Chinese market.

Thanks to its modular, cloud-native architecture, Shiji Daylight PMS adopts an API-first approach that enables flexible integration between core hotel systems and third-party applications. Its open, stable, and continuously evolving platform capabilities better meet the long-term needs of international hotel groups in managing multi-brand, multi-property, and multi-system synergies, providing a solid technological foundation for hotels' localized operations in China.

With the deployment of Shiji Daylight PMS, Chengdu Kempinski Hotel has transitioned from traditional on-premise systems to a cloud-based intelligent platform, strengthening its ability to manage various distribution channels, diverse business scenarios, and personalized services, thereby achieving a dual improvement in operational efficiency and guest experience. The system's Chinese-language interface and design logic, tailored to local hotel operating habits, further enhance front desk processing efficiency, shorten check-in and check-out times, and reduce training costs and onboarding time for new employees, helping the hotel achieve efficient operations quickly.

At the same time, this deployment has achieved seamless integration between Shiji Daylight PMS and the GHA (Global Hotel Alliance) platform to which Kempinski belongs, enabling real-time synchronization of member information and booking data, improving booking efficiency while ensuring a consistent membership service experience.

Leveraging the lightweight deployment advantages of Shiji Daylight PMS, the implementation teams from both sides worked in an efficient collaborative mode to achieve a smooth transition from the legacy system to the new platform, ensuring zero disruption to daily operations and seamless service continuity — setting a benchmark for "rapid deployment and steady upgrade" in digital transformation for high-end hotels.

In addition, Shiji's professional team also provided Chengdu Kempinski Hotel with diverse technical support, including e-signature, cloud breakfast, and one-click ID scanning, empowering both hotel operations and guest experience. The e-signature function simplifies front desk processes and improves efficiency; the cloud breakfast service automatically recognizes meal entitlements via room key card and deducts them accordingly, eliminating the tedious process of using and manually checking paper breakfast vouchers. This improves breakfast service turnover efficiency and reflects the refined service standards of a luxury hotel.

Mr. Thomas Hsu, General Manager of Chengdu Kempinski Hotel, commented on this new digital journey: "As a key part of Kempinski Hotels' presence in the Chinese market, the group is rolling out the new Shiji Daylight PMS system and promoting its adoption across its properties. The successful system switch at Chengdu Kempinski Hotel would not have been possible without the dedicated funding and strong support from our owner group. Thanks to their full commitment and active cooperation, the hotel successfully completed its system upgrade and officially adopted the group's new PMS standard. Throughout the project, Shiji's technical team demonstrated outstanding expertise and responsiveness. This implementation experience not only validates the reliability and advanced capabilities of the new system but also provides valuable practical insights for our future digital operations and alignment with the group's standardized operations."

Kevin King, COO of Shiji Group and CEO of Shiji International, stated: "The successful launch of Shiji Daylight PMS at Chengdu Kempinski Hotel once again proves Shiji's technology philosophy of being 'guest experience-centric.' Shiji will continue to deepen its collaboration with Kempinski Hotels, working together to create superior service experiences across the entire guest lifecycle and build efficient hotel operations processes."

Looking ahead, both parties will use this system launch as a new foundation to further deepen the integration of technology and business. Leveraging the powerful capabilities of Shiji Daylight PMS, they will explore more digital application scenarios, deliver more personalized and intelligent service experiences to guests, and inject new momentum into the digital transformation of China's hotel industry.
