World Travel Awards 2018

Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai continues to make waves this year as it brings home one of the most prestigious international awards of the industry for the third year running. Held in Hong Kong this year, the World Travel Awards (WTA) Asia & Australasia Gala Ceremony 2018 saw the regions’ finest travel brands unveiled.  

Hundreds of leading figures from Asia and Australasia’s travel and tourism industries attended the red-carpet ceremony for the award, which was originally established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward, and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry.  

In recognition of the Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai’s outstanding service and amenities for business travelers and companies, WTA awarded the property “China's Leading Business Hotel 2018”. Director of Marketing Communications Ms. Cindy Zhang was in attendance at the Hong Kong ceremony to receive the trophy.
