Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai is proud to announce it was awarded Best Employer in the hotel category on 18 September 2020 at the 7th Annual Very East Tourism & Hospitality Industry Forum Award Ceremony, hosted at Kempinski Hotel Hangzhou. This prestigious event was attended by 300 hospitality leaders and elites from across the regions of China.  

Meanwhile, Ms. Kelly Chen, Director of Human Resources at Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai, was awarded the Best Female Leader of the Year at the same awards. Kelly has been the leader of the Human Resources Department for a total of five years. During her tenure at the hotel, she has been instrumental in cascading the Kempinski DNA and company culture to all staff and is personally responsible for the many activities the Human Resources Department organises for the staff, which create a great work environment. Mark Kirk, General Manager at the hotel, said, “We are all very proud of Kelly and her team for making us the employer of choice in the hospitality industry.”
