‘Bright Moon’, ‘Moon Rhyme’ and ‘Smart Ladybug’

Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai has selected the finest fillings to create a variety of luxurious and elegant mooncake gift boxes to celebrate the Mid-autumn Festival.

This year, we have designed three mooncake gift boxes: ‘Bright Moon’, ‘Moon Rhyme’ and ‘Smart Ladybug’. The designs of ‘Bright Moon’ and ‘Moon Rhyme’ embrace the hotel’s vision of launching the ‘Planting Trees of Hope’ project in collaboration with the China Greening Foundation’s ‘Happy Homeland—Planting Trees of Hope’ programme. We have incorporated design elements of the Ningxia wolfberry tree to create a look that is sophisticated in its ancient style and simple in its modernity, skilfully blending elegance and beauty. The ‘Bright Moon’ gift box is adorned in light blue and Kempinski luxury dark blue, adhering to the noble and elegant style. The ‘Moon Rhyme’ box is inspired by Kempinski’s brand ambassador, the Lady in Red, and combines the traditional Chinese red, signifying good luck and prosperity for the whole family. For every five Mid-autumn Mooncake gift boxes purchased, the hotel will plant a wolfberry tree in the Northwest Desert. Each donated tree will be planted on the western desert land by the assisted farmers, helping combat desertification, resist sand and dust storms and plant hope for the farmers. This year, we have also launched the ‘Smart Ladybug’ mooncake bag for children. The insect-shaped mooncake bag is infused with childhood memories, and each mooncake is filled with fun and childlike innocence.
