Ambassador of Slovak Wines for 2026

Bratislava/Štrbské Pleso – During the prestigious ‘Slovak Wine 2026’ gala evening, organised by the Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Slovakia (ZVVS) at the modern Elesko winery, our colleague and leading expert Radovan Komorovský received the prestigious title of Ambassador of Slovak Wines for 2026.

This recognition is awarded annually to sommeliers who possess in-depth professional knowledge of Slovak winemaking, actively promote it among the general public, guests and customers, and successfully showcase its reputation both at home and abroad. This year’s selection process was particularly rigorous, involving a thorough evaluation by a professional jury. The title awarded to Radovan Komorovský reflects his passion for the craft, attention to detail and commitment to continuously educating guests, contributing to excellence in Slovak gastronomy.
