Çırağan Palace Kempinski on T+L Magazine’s 500 List of Best Hotels in the World

Istanbul, 24 February 2021; Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul has been recognised as one of the best hotels in the world, according to the Travel + Leisure 2021 T+L 500.

The T+L 500 serves as a trusted resource to help inspire and guide travellers for their next adventure, wherever and whenever that may be. Drawing on the Travel + Leisure 2020 World’s Best Awards survey results, readers rated hotels based on the following characteristics: rooms/facilities, location, service, food and value – resulting in the list of top 500 hotels in the world. The awarded hotels are listed alphabetically, by region, and are featured in the March issue of “Travel + Leisure”.

Celebrating its 30^th anniversary under the Kempinski brand this year, Çırağan Palace Kempinski is the one and only Ottoman Imperial Palace and Hotel on the Bosphorus where sultans once lived. The property, which dates back to the 17th century, sits on the European side of Istanbul, facing the Asian continent, and overlooks the ancient city, offering a total of 313 rooms, including 20 suites in the hotel and 11 suites in the historical palace.
