Over twenty quality Gozitan and Maltese wines will be available. People who wish to try the wines need only purchase a souvenir wine glass, which is theirs to keep. Then just show the correct coloured wristband (there will be a different colour each night) and present the glass at any wine stand and visitors can try as many wines, as often as they like. There will also be a number of food stalls offering delicious foods, and a seated dining area, ‘The Channel View’ grill.

The airshow, which regularly attracts thousands of plane enthusiasts, is being held at the Malta International Airport; the participating planes will also be on display on the runway before the aerial displays start. Pilots and aircrew will also be on hand to answer any questions with some even giving tours around their planes.

 

This year's highlight will be the French aerobatic team Patrouille de France with its daredevil acts.

Organised by NNG Promotions, the concert, taking place at The Granaries, Floriana, will see the return of one of the music icons of the last 40 years. The British singer has sold more than 250 million albums world-wide.

The performance will start at 7:00pm under the distinguished patronage of H.E. Dr George Abela, the President of Malta.

This production will be undoubtedly the highlight of the ninth edition of Festival Mediterranea, which is organised by the La Stella Philharmonic Society.
