Antalya City Centre
Antalya is an attractive holiday getaway with palm-lined streets, beautiful parks, a picturesque marina and an abundance of accommodation, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Because of the archaeological and natural riches of the area, Antalya is also known as the Turkish Riviera. Sun, sea, nature and history combine to form a very popular resort, highlighted by some of the cleanest beaches on the Mediterranean coast. The main area of interest in the city is central old quarter within Roman walls, known as Kaleiçi, and there are many good museums. Aspendos
Aspendos is an ancient city in Pamphylia, located about 25 miles (40 km) east of the modern city of Antalya. The city was founded around 1000 B.C. by Greeks who may have come from Argos. The wide spread of its coinage throughout the ancient world indicates that, in the 5th century B.C., Aspendos had become the most important city in Pamphylia. Aspendos is known for having the best-preserved theatre of antiquity. With a diameter of 96 metres (315 ft), the theatre provided seating for 7,000. The theatre has hosted the annual Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival organized by the Turkish State Opera and Ballet since 1994, with international participation of opera and ballet companies and an audience of about 10,000.

Perge
Perge, one of the chief cities of Pamphylia, was founded around 1000 B.C. It was sited inland as a defensive measure in order to avoid the pirate bands that terrorised this stretch of the Mediterranean. Its ruins include a theatre, a palæstra, a temple of Artemis and two churches. The very famous temple of Artemis was located outside the town. As recorded in the biblical book, St. Paul the Apostle and his companion St. Barnabas twice visited Perge during their first missionary journey, where they 'preached the word' before heading for and sailing from Attalia (modern-day Antalya city).

Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival
The Golden Orange Film Festival, held annually since 1963 in Antalya, is the most important international film festival in Turkey. The event, organised by the Foundation of Culture and Arts in Antalya, takes place in the autumn months. The festival starts with a parade in the city of Antalya on the evening of the first day. The opening ceremony takes place at the Konyaaltı Amphitheatre or in the Antalya Cultural Centre, in presence of national and international film celebrities. At this ceremony, honourary awards are presented to members of the film industry.
