A one-week Turkish food festival is launched on Saturday the 6th of August at The Kempinski Beijing, in an effort to celebrate the 40th anniversary of successful diplomatic relations between China and Turkey.
The Kempinski Beijing in association with Turkish Embassy and their Culture & Tourism Information Section organize this event.
“Turkish cuisine is always a pleasant surprise for the food lovers. “said Ms. IlknurYigit, the counsellor of Turkish Embassy Culture and Tourism Section, “We are very glad to choose Kempinski, the first luxury European hotel brand to co-host the event and introduce the Turkish cuisine to Chinese guests. ”
Mr. Johannes Mayr, the hotel Director of Food and Beverage commented the variety and simplicity of the recipes and the quality of the ingredients are the features of delicious Turkish meals. It is definitely exciting to promote a new cuisine that would enrich the culinary experience of local visitors.
Along with two guest chefs from Ankara, the culinary team of the Kempinski Beijing will emphasis preparing an array of mouth watering authentic Turkish cuisine to bring in the real flavours of Turkey.
With Turkish dance being an inseparable part of the countries rich heritage, a cultural troupe will introduce this Turkish inheritance by performing traditional dances throughout the weekend in the hotel Kranzler’s all-day-dining restaurant. Visitors are also given the opportunity to get to know and experience the famous Turkish coffee culture in the hotel Lobby Lounge during the festival.
The Turkish food promotion is open for dinner at 6pm everyday till 12th August.
