A play paradise on its own: handicrafts, romping around and playing with like-minded people are just as much a part of the programme as the fun work in the children’s kitchen, where young guests can bake muffins and biscuits.

A short walk from the Brunni valley station leads you to the Robinson playground in the Engelberg district of Horbis. With its many activities around the small lake, it leaves hardly anything to be desired. The little ones become pirates and explorers on the island. You will find a slide, bridges and rafts. For refreshment before the next lake battle, several barbecue areas are available. Grill wood can be used for a fee.
Experience Engelberg during a romantic and comfortable carriage ride. In summer as well as in winter, you can discover the beauty of the Engelberg Valley.
The Engelberg Sports Park offers a wide range of sports activities, whether for families or for the individual athlete, and there are facilities for everyone to enjoy all that the park has to offer. Curling, ice skating, ice hockey matches and fun courses are among the most popular group activities.
For tennis lovers, there are two indoor courts and, in summer, four outdoor courts with magnificent views of the Engelberg mountains. Indoor ice skating or on the natural ice rink in winter guarantees a lot of fun. For the upcoming climbing season, you can start your first climbing attempts at the 12-metre-high climbing wall or directly at the rock.
On this hike, you will experience a mixture of nostalgia, adventure, beautiful hiking trails and breathtaking views. The Buiräbähnli were cable cars for mountain farmers and were used to transport goods.
The complete multi-day hike takes 12.5 hours of pure running time and takes place off the beaten track. However, you can also enjoy parts of the Buiräbähnli Safari with your family.
The Rope Park in Engelberg offers unforgettable experiences and adventures for children and adults. It features six courses with different levels of difficulty on which you can push yourself to your limits. You will cross challenging balance bridges and suspension bridges and encounter action-packed Tyrolean slides.
