Brazzaville enjoys an equatorial climate with two main seasons. The rainy season runs from October to May, bringing warm temperatures, high humidity and brief but heavy showers. The dry season, from June to September, features cooler temperatures and lower humidity, making it the most pleasant time to visit. Average temperatures range between 22 °C (72 °F) and 32 °C (90 °F). Light, breathable clothing is recommended year-round.

RELIGION
The Republic of Congo is predominantly Christian, with Roman Catholicism and Protestantism widely practiced. Visitors will also encounter vibrant cultural traditions that shape the city’s social life. Out of respect, modest attire is advised when visiting places of worship.

GENERAL ETIQUETTE
Brazzaville is known for its warm hospitality and relaxed way of life. Business attire is generally formal, while smart-casual wear is appropriate in most restaurants and public spaces. 

DRINKS AND DINING
Congolese cuisine is rich in flavour, often featuring cassava, fish, chicken and seasonal vegetables. International dining options are also available throughout the city. Alcohol is served in hotels, bars and restaurants. Bottled water is recommended for visitors.
