Nanchang Temple

Nanchang Temple was originally built in the Taiqing period of Emperor Wu of Liang along the ancient canal, with the Fabulous Light Pagoda constructed with a combination of wood and bricks inside the temple.

The Lingshan Scenic Spot

The Lingshan Buddhist Park owns the World’s tallest standing Buddha statue. The Park in home to the 88-meter-high Lingshan Buddha, the large-scale music fountain – “Baptism of Baby Buddha” - and the art treasure house – the Buddhist Palace.

The Ancient Grand Canal

Beijing – Hangzhou Grand Canal, as equally famous a miracle as the Great Wall, dates back to 2500 years ago. Starting from Huangbudun Isle near Wu Bridge in the northwest, the Grand Canal runs through Xishui Mound, Nanmen, Qingming Bridge and Shuixian Temple. In recent years, the Wuxi government has pumped human and financial resources into the restoration of the landscape and tried excavating its rich historical and cultural heritage in an effort to restore its unique waterway that is characteristic of the Jiangnan landscape.

Turtle Head's Park

Located in the picturesque shoreline of the Taihu Lake, the Turtle-Head Peninsula Scenic Area is the perfect combination of natural and cultural landscapes with large rocks projecting into the lake, in the shape of a turtle’s head. The famous poet Guo Moruo could only write the simplest of tribute:

“Of all the scenic shores of the Taihu Lake, the Turtle-Head Peninsula is most beautiful”.
