New summer menu at the Restaurant Telegrafas : seasonality and newly discovered combinations

The summer colours and tastes filled menu of the Telegrafas restaurant is the official debut of the restaurant’s new head chef, Vytautas Alekna. The Lithuanian summer is very short but extremely generous with high-quality fresh local products. The chef incorporated into the new menu langoustines, yellowfin tuna, dried watermelon, chanterelles and uncommon lovage, which Vytautas raises specially for the Telegrafas guests in his grandma’s garden, as well as many other palate-flattering ingredients. "Whether it’s a major or minor ingredient, it plays a crucial role in the dish," he claims. With the new summer menu, Chef Vytautas Alekna allows us to get to know both the European and Lithuanian modern cuisine, masterfully combining them and allowing them to supplement each other. Head sommelier of the Telegrafas restaurant Martynas Pravilonis will gladly select the best-suiting wines to be paired with the chosen dishes.
