The Vienna Philharmonic's Summer Night Concert is one of the highlights of the Viennese concert season, turning the baroque park around Schönbrunn Palace into a concert hall for everyone. In the fantastic scenery of Schönbrunn, the Vienna Philharmonic will offer their audience open-air music enjoyment at the highest level. The concert has been taking place since 2004 and is offered to numerous classical music fans from Austria and abroad with free admission. The famous ensemble would like to offer its 100,000 visitors and the worldwide TV audience a special musical experience. In 2018, the Russian star conductor and chief conductor of the Munich Philharmonic, Valery Gergiev, will conduct the famous orchestra at the Summer Night Concert.
