There is no celebration without a cake! So Steffen Holle, Sous Chef Patisserie of Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin, has created the “Mondial” for Kempinski’s 120th anniversary. The creamy dessert forms an extraordinary combination of lemongrass and green tea with chocolate and a shot of Cuban rum. The French word “mondial” means “worldwide” - and the name of our exclusive dessert creation says it all. The “Mondial” takes you on a culinary journey to all parts of the world, where Kempinski is located: fine almonds from Europe, hearty chocolate from Africa, aromatic spices from Asia, exquisite pistachios from the Middle East and a touch of rum and tobacco in honour of our newest Kempinski hotel in Cuba are combined to create a unique taste experience.
