Più di Venezia!
Venice, 24 March, 2016 – Right in time for spring there is a new hotspot arousing itchy feet and aspiration for Italian flair: On 24 March, San Clemente Palace Kempinski celebrates its opening.
Set on a private island in the Venetian lagoon, the new Kempinski hotel combines city trip with holiday, romance with culture, history with culinary art and La Serenissima with spacious parks. San Clemente Palace means Venice with a plus.
“It is exciting to finally welcome our first guests on San Clemente Island,” says Benedikt Jaschke, General Manager of San Clemente Palace Kempinski. “We have worked towards this moment and now we can finally host guests – and we are really curious what our first visitors will say.
San Clemente Palace Kempinski has a lot to offer and we are very much looking forward to our first season in Venice.”
There are 190 rooms and suites providing privacy and relaxation – surrounded by a lavish park or with views of the impressive skyline of Venice, the lagoon or the Lido. Classic decor, warm colours, the traditional high ceilings and the unequally spacious aisles, meet typical Venetian elements always recalling historic times.
A special highlight: The newly built San Clemente Suite is the gem of San Clemente Palace Kempinski – a living room, a sleeping room, two bath rooms – and endless possibilities.
Located in the former monastery laundry, this suite brings together historic elements such as the dark wooden ceilings beams with modern equipment and furniture. Several huge, panoramic windows offer the best view of Venice one could possibly get.
Located in the same wing of the building, the suite can be enlarged by the Navigante Suite – with 100 square metres the second largest suite – five Navigante Junior Suites and the Marco Polo Suite. The result: a private Palazzo a Venezia, fully independent from the happenings at the hotel while providing every service of the luxury resort at the same time.
Even a completely discreet arrival and departure is possible: right in front of the Navigante Wing, there is a private boat dock suitable for yachts with up to 35 metres length.
Three restaurants and three bars serve the culinary delights – always following the traditions of the world-famous Italian cuisine. The restaurant Insieme is dedicated to providing a perfect start to the day and a diverse breakfast offer. The gourmet restaurant Acquerello offers modern creations and Italian haute cuisine with a breath-taking view.
La Dolce is set in the park of San Clemente Palace Kempinski and also stands for Mediterranean classics.
The private island boasts various leisure facilities and therefore is the perfect place for relaxation and action alike: there is a tennis court and a golf course, a heated outside pool, a jogging trail and the Kempi kids’ club.
During the first season, San Clemente Palace Kempinski is opened from 24 March to 8 November. Booking request can be addressed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Prices start from EUR 500 for Superior Rooms, Junior Suites are available from EUR 900, the Navigante Suite from EUR 5.500 and the San Clemente Suite from EUR 10.000.
