FIND OUR LATEST INFORMATION

Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace believes its responsibility to involve the team to support the communities and engage into socially responsible initiatives that meet specific needs of their local community. Therefore, we have supported a project called “Village–to-City” organized by the Peace Corps, a social organization supported by American government, with a cooperation of a local organization called Zorig Foundation.

The goal of the Village-to-City project is to help high school students to understand the types of industries and career opportunities that exist in Mongolia’s growing economy, and to provide an overview of what is required of those who would like to work in these industries in the future: the skills and education they should pursue to work in each industry, as well as the types of work experience they could gain to prepare themselves for future advancement.

Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace represented the hospitality and the tourism industry of Mongolia. Twenty young teens have visited the hotel and learned about hotel operation, 5 star hotel standards, daily routine, why service is essential in society, what are the required skills to become an hotelier and so on. After two days of training at the hotel, the young teens who have never been to any hotel, have developed a great knowledge about hospitality industry and some were actually very determined to work for Kempinski in the nearest future. We have encouraged the kids by gifting Oxford dictionary to support their initiation of learning English.
